Privacy policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

This is my personal portfolio site. Here, briefly and in plain words, is what data it collects, why, and how you can control it. I do not sell data or share it with anyone but the services named below.

Who handles the data

Daniel Rassomakhin, the owner of this site. For anything about your data, write to me directly:

Telegram
@IIMRD

What is collected

Only what I need to answer you and to see what people find interesting here:

  • what you send through the “Write me a letter” form — only what you typed yourself;
  • visit statistics — only if you allowed analytics;
  • two settings in your browser — they are never sent anywhere.

I do not ask for or collect passport or payment details, phone numbers or other sensitive information.

The contact form

What
Your name, a contact to reply to (email or Telegram), your message and the technologies you picked.
Why
To reply to you and talk about your project. Nothing else: no mailing lists.
How
The request goes to a Yandex Cloud function (servers in Russia), which forwards it straight to my Telegram through a bot. The function itself stores nothing. Telegram is run by a foreign company, so the form's data leaves Russia.
How long
It stays in our conversation while we talk, and is deleted if you ask.
Basis
Your consent: you give it with a separate checkbox before sending, and can withdraw it at any time by writing to me.

Analytics and cookies

The site uses Yandex Metrica and Google Analytics so I can see which projects people look at and where they leave. Until you allow analytics, their scripts do not load at all and no cookies are set.

What
Pages and navigation, clicks and scrolling, time on the site, where you came from, device and browser type, approximate location from the IP address. Metrica also records sessions (Webvisor): how the cursor moves and what gets clicked. What you type into the form is not recorded.
Who
Yandex Metrica — Yandex LLC, Russia. Google Analytics — Google LLC, USA: this data leaves Russia.
Cookies
_ym_uid, _ym_d and other _ym* — Yandex Metrica, up to 1 year. _ga and _ga_* — Google Analytics, up to 2 years.
Basis
Your consent in the note at the bottom of the page. The answer is kept for half a year, then the site asks again.
Change it
With the switch below or the cookie icon in the bottom right corner. Turning analytics off deletes the counters' cookies and reloads the page.

The services' own policiesYandexGoogleTelegram

What is stored in your browser

Two entries in localStorage. They are not cookies: they are never sent anywhere and only let the site remember your choices. Clearing the site's data in your browser settings removes them.

  • consent:analytics — your answer about analytics and when you gave it;
  • graphics:choice — whether the light graphics mode is on.

Hosting

The site is hosted on Yandex Cloud, with servers in Russia. Like any web server, the host receives the technical details of a request (IP address, browser, time) in order to serve the page. I do not collect or analyse them. Fonts and images load from this site itself, with no third-party services.

Your rights

You can find out what data of yours I have, ask me to correct or delete it, and withdraw your consent. Write to the email or Telegram in the first section — I will reply within 10 working days. If you believe your rights have been violated, you can complain to Roskomnadzor, the Russian data protection authority.

Changes

If anything in this policy changes, the date at the top of the page will change too. The current version is always here.
